Suvarnabhumi Airport → Blue Lagoon
This is the most convenient way to get to Blue Lagoon. Once you get to the minibus, driver will drive you until it reaches to Blue Lagoon, you don’t need to change between bus or ferry, they will get into ferry by minibus.
Minibus departs from Suvarnabhumi Airport, you can book ticket at Suvarnabhumi Burupha Bus counter in Entrance 8 on level 1 on the main terminal building.

By Bus
Bus Terminal (Bangkok) → Ferry Pier (Trat) → Ferry Pier (Koh Chang) → Blue Lagoon
This is the cheapest way to get to the island, but the bus from Bangkok drops you off in Trat or ferry pier, so you will have to organize ferry and taxi in Koh Chang by yourself. Buses take around 5-6 hours, departing from Ekkamai bus terminal, Morchit Bus station via Suvarnabhumi Airport. The most convenient buses are run by Tanakawee or 99 Express that go directly to the ferry stops, other buses stops in Trat bus station where you have to take taxi to get to the pier. There are two kinds of Taxi from Trat bus station, one takes you to Koh Chang pier which costs around 300 Baht including ferry ticket, you can save 50 Baht for another option which drop you in nearest pier. By Plane
Suvarnabhumi Airport → Trat Airport → Blue Lagoon
There are three daily flights from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport on the mainland which takes around 1 hour. It is the faster way to get to the island, but you will need to transport to the island by bus and ferry.

From Trat airport, the easiest way to get to the island is by a minibus which send you directly you to Blue Lagoon. Minibus tickets can be bought at Trat Airport.

By Private Car / Minivan
Anywhere in Bangkok→ Blue Lagoon
If you have money to spare, the most comfortable and easy option is by private transfer by car or minivan. Instead of buying the plane ticket increasing during the high season, this is the great option to come. You can arrange the time and to be picked up from your hotel to Blue Lagoon. Prices change depending on the amount of passengers and type of vehicle. Check more information here.

By Car
If you have a car with you,it’s also the easiest way to get to the island. Especially if you come with family, big group or carrying heavy stuffs. The road to the island, follow the Bangna-Trat road or motorway (Highway 7) out of Bangkok until you see Highway 344. Staying on the 344, looking out for police checkpoints as they like to stop drivers for no reason on this stretch of road. After Joining Highway 3 again near Klaeng and then, 23km before Trat, turn left at the T-junction with 3156, signposted to Laem Ngop. 25 mins later you’ll be at the first of the ferry piers – Ao Thammachat. You can get into ferry with your car, crossing time is about 45 mins to an hour which departs every hour.
